George Martin Presents: The Beatles
I Started playing Beatle music at age 12 with a neighborhood group called "The Junior Beatles." I was Ringo and played on a real set of drums...the other members played on cardboard guitars we had cut out and painted to look like the Beatles' guitars. We pantomimed to Beatle records. When we made the transition to REAL guitars...(some of the members did not make that transition too well) I switched to guitar...John Lennon.
Later. in New York I worked with Beatlemania on Broadway and was to be the Musical Director of the Los Angeles production. I left the show just before I was to go to LA...but that's another story.
I performed many years with "The Willard Cratchelow Band" where we were known for our Beatles' sets...including the entire "B" side of Abbey Road.
I joined "Forever The Tribute" (formerly Get Back), originally playing Ringo - then switched to George...I also performed with another Beatles Tribute Band, "The Britles" as Ringo...I really love bashing about on the drumkit!
I am a music teacher offering private instruction on piano, guitar, bass, and drums. We've got to teach all the little rock n' rollers how to do it right you know.
I also compose and record my own Original songs, which can be heard on my Music Page. (More to follow)
And now the New Show... "George Martin Presents: The Beatles"...The One-Man Beatles Tribute Show! I change COSTUMES, WIGS and MAKE-UP to portray each Beatle with their individual MANNERISMS and VOICES. I also play all the BEATLE INSTRUMENTS TOO. I hope you will enjoy it.
